“We’d put off our wills since the twins were born. Arnel did it over two video calls after the kids were in bed, and the price on the letter was the price on the bill.”
Flat-fee estate planning in Nebraska and Iowa
A plan for the people on your living room floor
That’s Arnel Magbanua, who started this firm, on a Saturday at home in Benson with his wife and son. He signed his own will the spring their boy turned one. We write wills, trusts and care plans for families like his, in Omaha, Council Bluffs and by video, for one fee you see before we start.

Clients
What families told us after signing
“Mom lives in Council Bluffs and I’m in Omaha. Danica explained the Medicaid rules to both of us on one call, and Mom signed at her own kitchen table.”
“Jory sent a checklist for moving each account into the trust, then called a month later to see which ones we’d done. That call was worth a lot.”
Comments from clients about their own plans. Every family’s situation is different, and theirs doesn’t promise the same for yours.
Questions
Fixed fees, two states and other questions
Is the fee really fixed?
Yes, for everything listed in the package. If you later want something it doesn’t cover, like a deed for a lake cabin or a second trust, we quote that in writing before doing it.
We live in Iowa. Can an Omaha office help?
Yes. All three of our lawyers are admitted in both states, and each plan is drafted under the law of the state you live in. Most Iowa clients meet by video and sign at home or in Council Bluffs.
Can I come to the meeting for my dad?
If he wants you there, yes. We’ll speak with him alone for a few minutes first, because the plan has to be his.
Do we need a trust, or is a will enough?
For many families a will is enough. If you own a home, or land in two states, a trust usually spares your family a court case. We’ll tell you which on the free call.
What if we move from one state to the other?
Wills and trusts usually still work. Powers of attorney and health care forms should be checked, and in the first year after signing we check them at no charge.
Free first call
Is the plan for you, or for a parent?
Twenty minutes, by phone or video. We’ll ask a few questions and tell you which package fits and what it costs before we hang up.
