Danica Hruska
Partner, Medicaid planning and guardianship
Danica helps grown children plan a parent’s care and, when there’s no power of attorney, asks a court to appoint a guardian.
Before law school Danica was a social worker on a hospital floor, helping families arrange care after a stroke or a fall. She saw how often the paperwork came too late.
She meets most families by video, with siblings in different cities on the same call, and does home signings in Council Bluffs.

Starting before the crisis
Danica’s favourite calls are the early ones: a parent who is well, a family who wants to know what would happen. Those plans cost less and leave more choices open.
