Jory Veldhuizen in a light gray suit, arms crossed, in an office corridor

Jory Veldhuizen

Associate, trusts and deeds

Jory moves houses and accounts into the trusts we draft, and makes the follow-up call a month after every signing.

Jory grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa and joined the firm after law school. He prepares the deeds, writes each family’s funding checklist and tracks it until every account is retitled.

He also handles plans for families who own farmland in Iowa and live in Omaha.

The call a month later

A trust only works once it holds the house and the accounts. Jory’s job is to make sure it does, one form at a time, and to say so plainly when something is still in your own name.
